What a fabulous holiday season! I received bunches of gorgeous holiday cards sent from my clients using photos from our shoot together. Some of my favorites are shown here.
And, this year, I offered metal photo Christmas ornaments in a number of designs. I’ve wanted to provide an ornament option for a long time, but wanted something cool and classy. A plastic ball with a photo pasted on was not going to cut it, but it seemed to be all that was out there. When I discovered these photographs printed on metal and then die-cut into various ornament shapes, I knew I had found something special enough for my esthetically discerning clientele.
Thanks to all of my clients, I had the opportunity to serve many families with the gift of photography this year. I want all of you to know how much I appreciate your love of capturing and savoring your families on camera. It makes it possible for me to have a career doing what I love. I hope this wonderful time of year reconnects you with family and all that is important to you. Looking forward to more photo adventures in 2012.

Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood boasts some of the coolest backdrops, with all kinds of old architecture and details, amongst tree-lined streets and flower beds. I am ecstatic to be living here! If you’re interested in setting up a creative family shoot in the neighborhood I now call home, contact bookings.

Continuing my shooting time at the Law Quad, I photographed a second family. I just love the archways and the stone work of the architecture here; it lends a classic feel to the modern family photo shoot. My favorites from this set are the series of mom and son snuggling, and of dad tossing his little girl in the air. So much love!

A dear friend of mine invited me to document her kids on location at their horse farm in Medina County, Ohio. I love the hats she provided — just when I thought her kids couldn’t get any cuter! It was fun to watch and record the kids explore and play. It’s always intriguing to observe the interaction between siblings, to see how they share and how they feed off each other’s energy. And, what an amazing setting for a shoot! The kids kept me busy exploring the grounds, and it was awesome that they could play freely.
