On Location: Baby’s First Christmas
Normandy, France
One of my fondest Christmas memories is the time I spent the holiday with friends in Normandy, and got to do their baby’s first photo session. At his first Christmas, no less!
We set up shots with him under the tree, as a viking — nodding to his Norwegian heritage, and with the whole family including the dog in front of the farmhouse. Indoor winter sessions can be really cozy and intimate.
Don’t let the darkness and weather fool you! And usually there’s a dry patch where we can sneak outside for a quick few, all bundled up.
